Forest walk with reindeer
Step into the Silence of the Swedish Forest – with a Reindeer by Your Side!
Discover the amazing Swedish forest on a walk together with one of our lovely reindeer! Listen to the silence and the reindeer steps in the snow. Feel the quietness being in the middle of the nature. We walk about 1 kilometer, and you can try to lead a reindeer if you want. On the hike we talk about nature and reindeer, and you get to learn alot! The walk takes about 30 minutes.
Back at the reindeer enclosure we make a fire and have fresh coffee or hot chocolate with pastry. You also get a presentation of the ancient drink Beaver shout, and thru that learn some Swedish history.
The walk can be quite a challenge in some weather conditions, so dress in proper shoes and clothes!
The tour ends in our gift shop where you can buy presents and souvenirs.
The price for a walk tour is 3000 SEK for a group of maximum five persons. Additional individuals pay 600 SEK/each.
The Swedish winter is quite cold. You need several layers of clothes to stay warm, and going through a visit at Ullis & Rudolf in jeans and long johns without freezing is not really possible. Wool is the best material there is staying in cold conditions. Two pair of wool socks in your shoes is preferable, no cotton! Thermal pants and jacket is also recommended. So is a beanie and gloves. Everything is more fun if you are warm and comfortable!
